Since 2009, the PWN Vienna Mentoring Program has supported women in achieving their professional goals, whether advancing their careers, changing direction, strengthening leadership capabilities, or launching a business. Open to professionals at every career stage, the program combines thoughtful mentor-mentee matching, a proven framework, and eight months of dedicated growth.

Mentoring is important at every stage of a person’s career, whether they are just starting out or are a CEO.

Join the PWN Vienna Mentoring program to be part of the a genuine mentoring programme.

At the PWN Vienna Mentoring Program starts with a conversation - we take the time to understand YOU. Every mentor and mentee is personally interviewed to help create a meaningful match based on experience, goals and expectations.

We support the mentors and mentees through the journey and mentoring doesn’t happen in isolation.

Our mentors have dedicated reflective spaces throughout the programme to exchange experiences, reflect on their mentoring journey and learn from one another. Because great mentoring is not just about giving advice. It’s about connection, reflection and meaningful exchange.

Next steps

Those wishing to be either a Mentor or a Mentee fill out an application form describing the goals they wish to achieve during the program, their background and their experience and choose the mentoring topics.

Once the application is reviewed, each applicant will be interviewed by the Mentoring Coordination Team in order to get a better understanding of their expectations and preferences . Mentoring coordination team reviews all inputs collected and does the diligent matching between Mentors and Mentees.

Our matching practice has a satisfaction rate above 90%. Mentees and Mentors will be informed after the matching process is completed.

Mentoring process then will be kicked off and will run for 8 months. While mentor and mentee work together on the mentoring, PWN mentoring coordination team will support the mentors and mentees with any questions or issues during the programme.

Q: Who can Apply as a mentor?
A: Anyone with 10+ years of working experience and willing to support and mentor.

Q: Who can apply as mentee?
A: Anyone who is looking for a mentor or support in advancing their professional journey and willing to learn from experienced mentors.

Q: Is there any age limit to participate in the mentoring program?
A: There is no age limit to participate in the mentoring program.

Q: Should I live in Vienna or travel to Vienna for mentoring?
A: No, it is not necessary to travel to Vienna during the mentoring programme as sessions can be planned in person or on-line based on mentee-mentor agreement. However, we invite all participants to join the Kick off program in person in Vienna.

Our Mentoring Coordination Team is currently working to further develop the Mentoring Program, and to engage as many Mentors and Mentees as possible. Code of Ethics

PWN Vienna, like many other organizations, is committed to maintaining and promoting excellent practice in mentoring. We are building our Mentor Program in a step by step process around a recognized professional framework. EMCC is one of the leading global organizations in the mentoring field. One of our next steps is to adopt the Global Code of Ethics set out by the European Mentor and Coaching Council. We anticipate that you can identify with the

Code of Ethics as it relates to mentors and mentoring (it also applies to those who coach or supervise). We, therefore, ask all our participants to sign the Code of Ethics as part of our shared commitment and desire to conduct our mentoring work in a professional manner.
