Benefits for Mentees

Through mentoring, Mentees can:

  • Mentees are responsible for being committed, engaged, and staying motivated throughout the program, and for striving to achieve the goals set at the start of the program
To further increase the benefits for Mentees, PWN Vienna continually strives to increase the strength of its program. 
We support our Mentees by:
  • Creating a Mentee community for networking and connecting 
  • Provide workshops and other educational events dedicated to supporting the Mentees during their learning and development process
  • Offer continuous support from the Mentoring Coordination Team for the mentoring relationship and process

As part of the application process, you will have an interview call with a coordinator to discuss your application and questions in detail.

Do I get a mentor for sure, will I be accepted for the program?

In general, yes. Usually we find for every profile a matching mentor, as we utilize our network and we have returning mentors. Reason for rejection can be, if the scope is not a mentoring scope (e.g. like more business consulting or therapy).

Shall I pay the mentoring fee, before I am matched with a mentor?

Yes, as the fee covers the whole matching process.

If you wish to withdraw your application, please reach out asap to mentees@pwnvienna.net

Please note that no refund of the mentoring fee is possible after you got the notification about the matching results.

How often will I meet my mentor?

We recommend at least 1 session per month. Of course that can sometimes be 3 weeks or 6, the main thing is to keep regular contact.

You will agree with your mentor about the timing, some pairs do biweekly sessions or keep contact between sessions.

Do you have participants only from Vienna/Austria? Do you have participants from abroad?

The majority of the cohort is from Austria (Vienna or close to Vienna), but we are international, accepting applications globally. Both mentors and mentees join from abroad. (Usually they lived/worked/studied in Vienna or plan to move to the region)

Can I get a mentor, who speaks my language?

There is a chance, as  we have year by year 20+ nationalities and languages in the cohort, but we cannot guarantee that. The official program language is English.

Before you apply, please make sure you will have time to participate in the program. To fully benefit, you need to be available for at least one meeting per month, in addition to the time necessary to work on reaching your goals. Motivation, engagement, and dedication to the program are crucial for successful mentoring.

Application deadline: 20th September 2026
Kick-Off Meeting (Mandatory!):  in the first week of November 2026 , afterwork evening session
Mentees will have a personal interview with the coordination team. Selected Mentees will receive a matching confirmation in October 2026.
