Meet Our Volunteers - December 2025
PWN Netherlands is a fully volunteer-run organisation. That's from our board to our support teams.
Behind every event, programme, and moment of connection stands a dedicated team of volunteers who choose to share their time, skills, and energy for our community.
This article highlights some of our current volunteers and, through their own words, we hope you'll gain insight into the value of volunteering and the power of contributing towards a cause rooted in connection, empowerment, and collective ambition.
Dilyara Rakhimbekova

What motivated you to volunteer with PWN Netherlands?
The main motivation is that I graduated with Master's in Change Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and, during that study, I learned that women often face a glass ceiling in the corporate world.
Therefore, I thought that it would be great to help make change and support talented and ambitious (and not really ambitious too) women to feel more confident at their work.
I'm also inspired by such an international environment that allows me to quickly bring ideas into fruition!
What's a skill or strength you enjoy bringing to the team?
I believe that I combine strategic thinking with creativity since I enjoy analysing data and translating them into solutions.
How does the community and your volunteer role support your professional growth and goals?
This role has helped me to understand the digital side of marketing and gain confidence in my skills.
I truly believe the right network and community can help me reach my goal of landing a marketing/project management job in the Netherlands, and I’m grateful to be part of a supportive, inspiring community.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to others in our community (or those looking to join as a member)?
Don't be afraid to ask for advice if you feel like you need it.
