PWN Netherlands

Member Spotlight: Wendy Kotila

Published on October 2, 2026

Every PWN Premium Member brings a unique story, perspective, and professional journey to our community. Through our Member Spotlight series, we celebrate the people who make our network so valuable - sharing their experiences, lessons learned, and the impact that connection, learning, and participation have had on their personal and professional growth.

We hope these stories inspire others to explore new opportunities and discover the value of being part of a supportive professional community.

Member Spotlight: Wendy Kotila in her own words

Recently, we welcomed a new volunteer to the PWN Netherlands team. Wendy Kotila joins us as Marketing & Membership Lead, helping PWN better understand and grow its member community.

We caught up with Wendy to find out more about her and to introduce her to you, our members and network...

Originally from the US, Wendy has lived and worked in Australia, Singapore, and now the Netherlands. She is an AI-fluent B2B marketing leader whose experience spans Apple, Google, and a range of B2B startups and scale-ups across three continents. She recently launched Kindred Consulting, offering fractional marketing leadership to B2B tech companies, and is passionate about helping small teams use AI to work faster and smarter.

How would you describe yourself in three words?  ▶️ Curious, Adventurous, Builder.

What is your role at PWN Netherlands?  ▶️ I'm the Marketing & Membership Lead. Right now, I'm running research with current, former, and prospective members to learn what they value most, so PWN keeps offering what matters most to all of us.

What are your personal interests or hobbies?  ▶️ I love intrepid travel, the kind that takes you off the usual path. A recent highlight was a week on my own in Morocco. And I'm a founding member of Camp Château, a transformative summer camp created by and for women in the South of France. Lately, I've also been going deep on AI: I just finished an intensive accelerator (about 200 hours in two weeks!), where my team built a working app in a two-day hackathon.

What is your personal philosophy?  ▶️ Stay curious. There's always something new to learn, and someone to learn it from.

🌟 Welcome to the team, Wendy!
