Since 2006, PWN has upheld the same values of giving back, empowerment, fairness, inclusion, and growth. As a non-profit organisation integrated into PWN Global, our mission is to support the professional development of women at all stages through leadership, mentoring, and networking programs.
We are a fully volunteer-led organisation. Get to know our Board, advisors and volunteers below.
We organise a variety of in-person events in iconic locations from breakfasts at the House of Lords to networking drinks at viral bars. Most of our events are open to both members and non-members, so if you're not sure just yet, come meet us and find out!
Our members have access to our forums and an app to enable networking from anywhere in the world. Join in on discussions form the comfort of your own home.
We offer leadership and mentoring programmes to all our members. At PWN London, we also have a dedicated Career Hub to support members looking for their next opportunity. For support on employment rights, we are creating a Legal Hub, planned for launch in 2025.
While it can be challenging at times, the rewards of volunteering are worth it. Being part of a team that is committed to a clear mission is energising. As VP of Mentoring, I get to lead out on a programme that has a tangible impact on our members, mentors, and allies each year. Hearing their positive stories and experiences is what it's all about.
5 years ago, I joined PWN as a member to develop my career. I was so impressed with their content that I asked to become a volunteer. Volunteering is the single most powerful thing I have done to hone my skills and enhance my competencies. It's not paying dividends in my professional career - and I feel so good about myself.
