Applications are now open for the 9th edition of the YOUTH Programme, a multidisciplinary programme designed to empower and foster a new generation of women leaders.
The program is aimed at women aged between 28 and 35, and is guided by the principles of co-creation, collaborationand connection.
It is structured around five modules, each led by renowned experts from academia and the business world, and follows a hybrid format, with two online sessions and one in-person session per module.
Building on the success reflected in the testimonials of previous participants, the PWN Lisbon YOUTH Programme will continue its mission from 20 January 2027, maintaining its focus on innovation and on identifying and empowering a new generation of female professionals committed to making an impact in Portugal and around the world through strong values and outstanding skills.
The 9th edition of the Programme will officially begin on 20 January 2027, with the kick-off event, and is expected to conclude in June 2027.
Applications must be submitted by 9 December using the “Apply Now” button below and should include a CV and either a motivation letter or a video.

That's why we created eXXpand: the first PWN Lisbon initiative that treats wellbeing as a leadership skill, not a side project. A journey designed to help women develop the capabilities, awareness and support systems they need to thrive throughout their personal and professional lives.
eXXpand brings together a holistic vision of leadership, integrating five essential dimensions of wellbeing (i.e., physical, mental, emotional, financial and social wellbeing) and leverages a set of diverse and up-to-date studies, frameworks and tools (where artificial intelligence plays a critical role).
This initiative reflects the understanding that long-term success requires energy, resilience, balance, meaningful relationships, financial confidence and the ability to continuously adapt to a changing world.

PWN Lisbon eXXpand is a six-month initiative, running October 2026 to March 2027, that treats wellbeing as a leadership skill rather than a side project. It is exclusive to PWN Lisbon members.

Five formats: Inspirational Talks (guest experts) · Masterclasses (AI, finance and more) · Women-to-Women Series (peer-to-peer) · Wellbeing Capsules (10–15 minutes) · Challenges & Networking
Diagnostic: a personal diagnostic based on globally recognised instruments, so you can track your progress over the six months.
Community: eXXpand will come to life through a dedicated community hosted on the PWN Lisbon Members Platform.
Science backed content and format: based on up-to-date studies, frameworks and tools.
Key dates: applications close 16 October; results will be announced on 22 October and pre-work for workshop one will be sent out.
Fee: included in the PWN Lisbon membership fee. Depending on the format and duration, some activities may involve additional costs. beyond the annual PWN Lisbon membership fee. At this stage, we do not foresee any additional paid activities for the 2026 cohort.

Is eXXpand in English?
eXXpand is bilingual we warmly welcome both English and Portuguese speakers. In every session, breakout pairs and groups are organized by language preference so everyone communicates naturally. We decided to create a bilingual initiative because: 1) We aim to include international women based in Portugal, bringing rich, diverse global perspectives and experiences to our network. 2) We also want native Portuguese speakers to feel fully comfortable expressing themselves and sharing insights in their preferred language.
Why pre-work and requested attendance in 4/5 sessions?
Pre-work kicks off the reflection needed to impact your wellbeing. Sessions are practical and peer-driven, so active attendance ensures participants support and learn from each other.
I don’t have time. Can I still take part? Yes. eXXpand is designed for busy weeks. If you can’t make one of the sessions, that’s okay.
How much does it cost?
It is included in your PWN Lisbon membership fee. We do not foresee any additional paid activities for the 2026 cohort.
I’m not a member yet. Can I apply?
eXXpand is exclusive to PWN Lisbon members. If you are not a member yet you can apply and join after selection.
I’m selected but can’t do the prep work in time. What happens?
Not a problem, you can pass your place to the next person on the waiting list and join a future cohort.

O Programa de Liderança da PWN Lisbon é uma iniciativa de desenvolvimento pessoal ao longo de 12 sessões, desenhada para quem quer aprofundar competências de liderança, ampliar a sua rede de contatos e maximizar o impacto profissional e pessoal — numa abordagem ancorada em casos reais e aprendizagem entre pares.
Para quem é profissionais em posições de liderança — atuais ou em construção — que sentem que as ferramentas tradicionais de gestão já não respondem à complexidade atual (IA, equipas híbridas, ritmo de mudança, peso emocional) e procuram um espaço estruturado para refletir, experimentar e crescer. Mentoring is recognised as cost-effective and impactful way to prepare future business leaders. In the past years 60% of people who participated in a PWN mentoring programme have gone on to achieve their life change goal, including promotions and career changes. This could be the start of the rest of your life!
They have the support of a team that accompanies the pair as needed and organizes get-togethers aimed at networking and sharing. The program has grown significantly given its result orientation and mentors report that learning is mutual.
PWN Lisbon’s mentoring program pairs together mentees, PWN members, with mentors who are references in their areas.
The program is designed for three different segments of seniority, from board-ready women to those taking their first steps in their professional career.
