PWN Frankfurt

PWN Frankfurt Who we are

Welcome to PWN Frankfurt Rhein Main.

We connect English-speaking women in Frankfurt at every career and life stage. We do this through local events, through connection with locals and with women who have relocated here from abroad, through development programmes, and through our members’ platform linking us to women worldwide. We welcome allies who share our commitment to balanced leadership.

As a nonprofit, we align with PWN Global’s mission to accelerate gender-balanced leadership in business and society. Our purpose is the promotion of education, public and vocational training, equality between women and men, and internationalism, tolerance, and international understanding, pursued through educational programmes, workshops, events, mentoring and coaching, and networking and international cooperation.

Whether you are a student, an intern, early in your career, taking a career break, caring for family, rebuilding after relocating to Germany, reviewing your path, an established professional, an entrepreneur, or ready for the boardroom, there is a place for you here.

Still finding your footing here, however long you’ve been in Frankfurt? Whether you arrived last month or years ago, rebuilding a career, a network, and a sense of self in an unfamiliar language and system takes time, and it isn’t easy.

Supporting women who have relocated here from abroad, as they re-establish what they built elsewhere, is part of what our purpose means in practice, and part of how we contribute to gender-balanced leadership more broadly.

Whether you’re looking for your next connection, your next mentor, or your next opportunity, come find it here. Frankfurt is a lot easier to navigate when you’re not doing it alone.

While it can be challenging at times, the rewards of volunteering are worth it. Being part of a team that is committed to a clear mission is energising. As VP of Mentoring, I get to lead out on a programme that has a tangible impact on our members, mentors, and allies each year. Hearing their positive stories and experiences is what it's all about.
Dayna Cacares, VP Mentoring (Volunteer), PWN Dublin
5 years ago, I joined PWN as a member to develop my career. I was so impressed with their content that I asked to become a volunteer. Volunteering is the single most powerful thing I have done to hone my skills and enhance my competencies. It's not paying dividends in my professional career - and I feel so good about myself.
