SheGrows is a practical development programme for early-career women who want to make more intentional career choices, communicate their value and build relationships that help them move forward.

From September 2026 to April 2027, we invite you to take part in expert-led workshops, practical exercises and networking opportunities within the PWI Brussels community.

Whether you are taking your first professional steps, searching for your next opportunity or wondering which direction is right for you, SheGrows will help you turn uncertainty into purposeful action.

Your career does not have to follow a default path

At the beginning of a career, it can be difficult to separate what you genuinely want from what you feel you should do. You may be trying to choose a direction, secure the right opportunity, communicate your strengths or become more visible in an organisation - often without access to the networks and unwritten knowledge that make those steps easier. SheGrows brings these pieces together in one supportive program. You will gain practical career skills while developing the clarity, confidence and professional relationships needed to use them.

Who SheGrows is for

SheGrows is designed for women who are in the early stages of their careers and committed to their personal and professional development.

The programme is for you if you are:

  • A recent graduate or young professional.

  • Looking for a job, internship or your next professional opportunity.

  • Already working but uncertain about your longer-term direction.

  • Preparing for a career move or a new level of responsibility.

  • Interested in strengthening your confidence, communication and professional network.

  • Ready to reflect, practise and take action between sessions.

Participants from all professional and academic backgrounds are welcome. You do not need to have your whole career mapped out before joining - helping you find greater direction is part of the program.


The SheGrows Journey

The programme combines an in-person community experience with a series of focused online workshops. Each workshop is designed to build on the previous one, moving from career direction to practical job-search skills, confident communication and long-term professional growth.

Move beyond default career scripts and explore what a good professional fit means for you. You will reflect on your values, strengths, energy and current context, then identify a practical next step you can test. 

Workshop 2: CV Workshop: Crafting Your Career Story

Learn how to present your experience and value clearly, tailor your CV to different opportunities and use current tools thoughtfully while keeping your application authentic. 

Workshop 3: Job interviews: to dread or to embrace?

Prepare for interviews with greater confidence. Explore effective research and preparation, practise responding to challenging questions and strengthen the way you present yourself in the room. 

Workshop 4: Powerful Communication Using Voice

Develop a more grounded, credible and engaging professional presence. Learn practical ways to use your voice with greater authority and communicate your ideas more clearly in meetings, presentations and stakeholder conversations. 

Workshop 5: The Sponsorship Edge: Decoding Unwritten Rules for Early Career Success

Discover why strong performance alone does not always lead to opportunity. Learn what professional sponsorship is, how it differs from mentoring and how to build the relationships that can support your visibility and growth.

Do I need to know exactly what career I want before joining?

No.

The programme is particularly relevant if you are exploring your direction or deciding what you want from your next professional step. The first workshop will help you develop clearer criteria and identify an action you can take.
Do I need to be employed to participate?

No.

SheGrows is suitable for recent graduates, job and internship seekers, and young professionals who are already working.
Is the programme limited to a particular sector? 

No.

Women from all sectors and fields of study are welcome. The program focuses on transferable career, communication and relationship-building skills.
Is SheGrows only for women based in Brussels? 

No. 

All workshops are online, but the programme also includes in-person opening and closing events in Brussels. Attendance of the opening and closing events is not mandatory, but highly encouraged. Even if you are not based in Belgium and you want to attend the online workshops only, this is absolutely possible.
 Do I need to be a PWI/PWN Brussels member? 

Not necessarily.

You do not have to be a PWI/PWN member to join the programme, although as a non-member, you will be charged a higher fee to join the programme. 
What is included in the programme fee (€50 for PWI/PWN Members, €100 for non-members)? 

The fee covers participation in the complete SheGrows journey

This includes the kickoff, five live workshops, program exercises and the closing event.
What if I cannot attend one of the sessions? 

No worries!

Live participation is strongly encouraged because the workshops include reflection, discussion and practical exercises. Every workshop will be recorded, and if you are not available to attend, you can watch it at a time that is most convenient to you. 
What happens after I register? 

You will receive a welcome mail

You will receive confirmation and practical information by email, as well as a short questionnaire so that the sessions can be tailored to participants’ backgrounds, priorities and current career questions.
