Meet Our Speaker:
Magali Anderson is a Board Member of Anglo American and Capitals Coalition, where she focuses on the interconnectedness of our planet's natural, social, human, and produced capital. She's the founder of S4 (Secret Society of Sustainability Spies), a mentor with Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), and an angel investor.
Previously, she was Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer at Holcim, and served on the advisory boards of Business For Nature (BFN), MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium (MCSC), and the World Green Building Council (WGBC). She co-led the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) Net-Zero Pledge.
Magali also spent 27 years with SLB (Schlumberger), starting as a field engineer on offshore oil rigs in Nigeria, and rising to executive roles including Country CEO Angola, Head of Europe, and global VP positions. Her trailblazing leadership has earned her honors such as Edie Sustainability Leader of the Year and IRF Personality of the Year.
