That is me: Monica Cretu
After 25+ years in senior marketing and business development leadership across corporate and entrepreneurial organizations, managing teams, budgets, and strategic initiatives in multicultural environments, I founded WalkingTheTalks® Coaching and Consulting in 2021.
During my corporate career, I led marketing and growth strategies across industries including retail, FMCG, education, wellness, cosmetics, and e-commerce, collaborating with teams and stakeholders in multiple countries. Having relocated internationally myself, I bring first-hand understanding of cross-cultural leadership and the challenges of building a professional presence in a new environment.
My practice serves two communities, with a primary focus on entrepreneurship:
- Senior leaders transitioning into entrepreneurship and early-stage service-based entrepreneurs (coaching, consulting, advisory). I help them build sustainable and profitable independent practices through strategic thinking, client acquisition, marketing, authentic positioning, and hands-on implementation, fully personalized to their strengths, personality, and vision.
- Established leaders working in international or multicultural environments, strengthening communication, influencing skills, decision-making, relationship building, and personal branding.
WalkingTheTalks® is grounded in a simple principle: sustainable growth comes from aligning what we say with what we do, and building careers and businesses that reflect who we are, using approaches tailored to the individual rather than standard frameworks.
