Mrs. Monica Eugeniu is one of the pioneers in the Human Resources field in Romania. She developed her career within multinational companies, as of today having more than 26 years in working with people and management development. As an entrepreneur with 20 years of experience, she has been working and developing corporate teams in order to raise the bar to the next level of performance. "I believe we are at a moment where it is necessary to give back more to the community, to young people at the beginning of their journey, and to those who can receive professional and personal inspiration and motivation, just as I once did at the right moment." Her words truly speak about the commitment that she has for a new mandate at PWN Romania as President.

From seven years on the UK acting stages to a decade of facilitating leadership and communication programs for global companies in IT, Pharma, and Finance, I bring a multidimensional perspective to the Entrepreneurship pillar. As a certified PCM (Process Communication Model) trainer, I specialize in the 'soft skills' that are often the 'hardest' to master: conflict management, influence, and team motivation. As VP of Entrepreneurship, my mission is to equip PWN members with the psychological safety, communication tools, and strategic mindset necessary to scale their ventures or bring the entrepreneurial spirit in the companies they are part of. A PWN member since 2014, I am a seasoned C-suite executive in finance and banking with over 30 years of professional experience, including a decade of senior financial leadership within international financial groups. Throughout my career, I have held executive appointments approved by the National Bank of Romania — including Chief Audit Executive, Executive Finance Director, and Deputy General Manager & CFO — accumulating extensive exposure to Board-level governance, Audit Committees, and executive decision-making in highly regulated environments. I have also served as a Board of Directors and Audit & Risk Committee Member across multiple industries for over five years. My areas of expertise encompass financial governance, internal audit, risk management, and IFRS-based financial reporting, underpinned by strong strategic and analytical capabilities. This professional foundation is further reinforced by dual academic qualifications in Finance and Engineering. I am a licensed Financial Auditor and active lecturer with the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania, maintaining a strong professional standing in audit ethics, independence, and governance standards. I am widely recognized for integrity, discretion, and sound judgment, with a demonstrated ability to provide constructive challenge while supporting sustainable value creation. The Museum of Remarkable Women is a digital cultural platform dedicated to highlighting the stories of women who have shaped Romania’s history, often without receiving the recognition they deserved. More than a repository of biographies, it is conceived as a living space of memory, dialogue, and inspiration, connecting generations through authentic stories of courage, dignity, and contribution. Under her leadership, the initiative has evolved into a growing digital ecosystem, integrating editorial content, communication channels, and multimedia formats, while fostering a strong and engaged community. The project reflects a deep belief in the power of role models, collective memory, and responsible leadership.
