PWN Netherlands: VP Partnerships

Published on September 16, 2026

VP Partnerships

As VP Partnerships, you are responsible for developing and expanding PWN Netherlands’ network of partners and sponsors. Partners and sponsors could be corporate, small and medium sized businesses, or educational organisations that wish to support our cause through providing an increase in membership and visibility, event hosting, volunteers, or financial contribution in exchange for a partnership with PWN.

You are the first point of contact for new and existing partnerships, and you make sure these relationships contribute to the financial stability and growth of the network. You are part of the board and work closely with the other sub-committees, including events, marketing, legal, programme, and membership teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and actively approach prospective partners and sponsors, including cold outreach to companies that do not yet have a relationship with PWN.
  • Further develop the sponsorship proposal and partnership packages and adapt them to the needs of potential partners and sponsors.
  • Maintain, strengthen, and expand (where possible) existing partnerships, such as Van Lanschot Kempen.
  • Work with the events team to connect sponsorship opportunities to concrete events, including the 40th Anniversary in November 2026.
  • Lead the partnership team and expand it with volunteers where needed.
  • Report monthly progress to the board during board meeting, including a clear overview of ongoing conversations and closed deals.
  • Collaborate with PWN Global Co-VPs Corporate Partnerships regarding Global to Local partners, eg. Mercer, as well as Local to Global opportunities.
  • Collaborate with PWN City Network Partnerships leads on introductions and developments of partnerships where they have presence in multiple City Network locations, including the Netherlands.
  • Attend the majority of PWN Netherlands events as well as events hosted by our partners (where invited) and actively participate in adjacent events and networks with like-minded members and employers to demonstrate the presence of our community, the commitment to growing our network, and our impact.

(These are examples of tasks you may be asked to do. The role is not limited to this and can be amended at any time.)

What You Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, including cold outreach.
  • Affinity with PWN’s mission of accelerating balanced leadership.
  • Experience setting up or maintaining commercial collaborations, ideally within a non-profit, membership organisation, or similar.

Who You Are:

  • You genuinely enjoy approaching companies you don’t yet know, and rejection doesn’t hold you back.
  • You work independently and take ownership of your portfolio.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing as an active member of the Board.
  • Committed to supporting a volunteer-led organisation and helping it grow sustainably.
  • Passionate about creating opportunities for connection, belonging, support, and professional growth within our community.

Your Benefits:

Professional Development Put your commercial mind into action and gain valuable professional experience.

Networking Opportunities Access to a wide network of professionals in the Netherlands, as well as internationally through PWN Global.

Change-Making Direct impact on the growth and financial future of PWN Netherlands.
