Abhilaash Subramaniam is a Malaysian legal professional and the principal of Abhilaash Subramaniam & Co, a specialist firm focused on tax litigation and advisory services. His credentials include an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Warwick, a Barrister-at-Law qualification from Gray’s Inn, and an LL.M from Cardiff University. Abhilaash has been recognised by the Legal 500 for his practice in tax.
He is an elected Council Member of the Malaysian Bar Council and Chairs the Tax Committee of the Malaysian Bar. He was also the past chair of the ESG committee of the Bar.
Having honed his skills previously at Shearn Delamore & Co within their Tax & Revenue and Competition Law departments, Abhilaash founded his current firm to focus on specialized legal fields. His practice areas encompass all facets of tax advisory and litigation—including indirect tax (SST & GST), transfer pricing, RPGT, and stamp duties—along with ESG, general litigation, competition law, anti-money laundering, and anti-bribery laws.
