PWN Kuala Lumpur was founded in 2016. It was the first City Network in Asia.

It was doing well till Covid hit the world. The long-drawn out Covid lock-down and its social and economic consequences impacted heavily on the operations of PWN Kuala Lumpur. As it did on numerous establishments everywhere.

Fast-forward to 2026.

PWN Kuala Lumpur, which is still the first and the only City Network in Asia, is geared to introduce our line-up of exciting and relevant forums, activities and events.

Under the leadership of its newly minted President Jasmin Edna Peters and Co-Founder & Secretary General Zieda Halem, and a sterling line-up of PWN Kuala Lumpur’s Board, it held its first Board Meeting on 5th February 2026. The Board comprised of some of Malaysia’s most notable and highly respected leaders. A unique mix of cross-industry and cross-generational professionals appointed to guide and encourage our new membership.

Our Board just completed a highly productive off-site ideation session on 6th March 2026, culminating in a series of tea and evening talks and programmes to be rolled out throughout the year.

We will be launching a series of social media advertisements using accomplished women as role models, both for membership recruitment and to generate awareness, visibility and interest. Comm releases regarding PWN Kuala Lumpur’s exciting programmes will be posted on LinkedIn. Work on our brand-new website is currently in-progress.

All reflecting the PWN global renewed brand look and commitment.

All of us on the Board of PWN Kuala Lumpur are highly motivated to be part of this fresh chapter. We are looking forward to see many additional members swelling our ranks, while we work towards cultivating and elevating professional women in Malaysia for leadership development, strategic connections and global exposure.
