Giving Back to move forward – over 500 volunteer hours to support Gender Balanced Leadership and build a talent pipeline

Dublin, 17 January 2025 — PWN Dublin proudly unveiled its 2025 Group Mentoring Programme last night at a lively and engaging event hosted at the Hilton Hotel in Dublin. Marking its sixth consecutive year, the programme’s launch brought together over 90 of Dublin’s leading professionals for an evening of inspiration, networking, and empowerment.

Over the last 6 years PWN Dublin volunteers have delivered:

  • 6 mentoring programmes (each featuring 10 groups of mentees)
  • supporting 300 mentees
  • with 50 mentors
  • over 500 volunteer hours.

All programmes are dedicated to supporting Gender Balanced Leadership and the development of talent to enable continued career progression for over 300 participants.

The highlight of the evening was a dynamic keynote address, “Relentless and Ready for Success” by Breda McCague of She Speaks Agency, whose words left attendees energised and ready to take on new challenges.

Dayna Caceres, VP Mentoring at PWN Dublin, remarked on the evening’s success: “This year, we have an exceptional lineup of 10 stellar mentors, with the programme accommodating up to 60 mentees. Last night provided a unique opportunity for prospective participants to meet our mentors and learn more about the incredible value this programme offers.”

The PWN Dublin Group Mentoring Programme is designed to amplify the network's collective knowledge and experience, fostering a culture of shared learning among diverse professional peers. This initiative is tailored to help participants navigate career challenges, unlock new opportunities, and connect meaningfully across industries.

Fiona Flynn, President of PWN Dublin, underscored the programme’s significance: “The PWN Dublin Group Mentoring Programme has become a cornerstone of what we offer our members. Over the past six years, we’ve supported more than 300 women in exploring their potential and daring to dream big. The transformation we witness is extraordinary—an alchemy of growth and connection that occurs under the guidance of our outstanding mentors. This year, we’re excited to add new engagement opportunities through the MyPWN app, enhancing accessibility and connection for our members.”
