What You’ll Do:
- Attract the Right Volunteers: Work closely with role owners to identify volunteer needs and recruit top candidates through various channels
- Create Impactful Role Descriptions: Write and update role descriptions that accurately reflect the responsibilities and expectations for each volunteer position
- Screen Applications: Review volunteer applications and resumes, shortlisting the most qualified candidates
- Conduct Interviews: Organize and lead interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role and organization
- Collaborate & Support: Partner with role owners throughout the recruitment process, providing insights and guidance on candidate selection
- Onboard Volunteers Transition: Ensuring new volunteers transition smoothly and are set up for success
- Work in close cooperation with Volunteer Management Department team.
What You Bring:
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to connect effectively with potential Volunteers and the team.
- Organizational Skills: You can manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and maintaining Volunteer information
- Interpersonal Skills: You build strong relationships and engage confidently with diverse individuals
- Problem-Solving Skills: You identify challenges and implement practical solutions to improve the recruitment process
Who You Are:
- Education: A background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or similar fields
- Experience (mandatory): Previous experience in Volunteer recruitment or HR, with a track record of successfully matching candidates to roles
