International Women’s Day and PWN 30-year anniversary

On this International Women’s Day, our gift to our members and community is our renewed brand and commitment to our mission.

As PWN turns 30 this year, we are looking at how far we have come together, the journey, and the growth of this amazing association that, in 30 years, has become an unstoppable force, boosting with energy, collaborative intelligence, and collective impact.

A place where you belong.

Empowering & Embracing

Strong & Caring

Professional & Social

PWN Global was born in 1996 from a simple but powerful idea: women’s networks across Europe decided that by joining forces across borders, they could increase their reach and advance gender-balanced leadership. Today, 30 years later, we are a federation of 26 cities and 3,200 members in Europe and around the world.

We renew our commitment today to our core mission to empower women all along their professional lives through networking, learning, and cross-cultural collaboration while being part of a thriving and embracing international community in their cities and of an extended global network.

Our purpose is Balanced Leadership: starting with gender balance and women’s advancement and progressively opening up to other forms of balance such as generational, cultural, and cross-industry leadership.

On this day, as we turn 30, we are looking back at how far we’ve come, acknowledging where we are today, and looking with confidence and hope into the future, towards a post-empowerment era, while staying firmly grounded in the present and continuing to serve professional women, where there is still significant work to be done.

Growing Stronger Together.

Happy International Women’s Day!
