PWN Copenhagen: Women's Strategy Circle - Anti-Strategy: When the Obvious Choice Is the Wrong One

We are constantly told to follow proven paths:
Build visibility. Scale faster. Say yes more often. Niche down. Network harder. Be more active. Be more polished. Be more strategic.

But what happens when the “correct” choice quietly stops working?

This session explores the idea of Anti-Strategy – the ability to recognize when the expected move, socially rewarded behavior, or “safe” professional choice no longer serves your growth, positioning, energy, or long-term direction.
Designed specifically for ambitious women navigating leadership, entrepreneurship, consulting, career growth, and personal visibility, the session explores why many highly capable professionals become stuck in cycles of overperformance, overavailability, imitation, or strategic exhaustion.

The conversation will focus on:
• why obvious choices often create professional sameness
 • why many women are taught strategies that increase workload but not influence
 • how constant visibility can sometimes weaken positioning
 • why saying “yes” is not always strategic
 • how unconventional decisions can create stronger differentiation, clarity, and sustainability
 • the difference between strategic growth and strategic noise

The session combines strategic thinking, practical reflection, and real-life examples from business, branding, leadership, consulting, and professional visibility.
Rather than promoting rebellion or chaos, the goal is to help participants develop sharper judgment: understanding when following the expected path creates value – and when it quietly pushes people further away from the life or career they actually want.
The session is designed to be reflective, engaging, practical, and highly discussion-oriented, with space for participants to connect the ideas directly to their own professional realities.

Benefits of attending this event:
1. Understanding when “doing more” stops creating value Participants will explore why constant activity, visibility, networking, or expansion can sometimes weaken positioning instead of strengthening it. Why it matters: Many ambitious professionals become trapped in strategic overload without realizing it.

2. Learning how to recognize professional sameness The session will help participants identify where they may be unconsciously following expected patterns instead of building a more distinctive path. Why it matters: In crowded professional environments, differentiation often comes from selective decisions rather than louder presence.

3. Building more sustainable and intentional positioning Participants will reflect on what truly aligns with their goals, strengths, energy, and desired direction. Why it matters: Long-term credibility and influence require consistency and clarity – not constant performance.

4. Developing stronger strategic judgment The session encourages participants to become more comfortable questioning trends, norms, and “best practices.” Why it matters: Strong strategy is often less about copying successful models and more about understanding what actually works for you.

This event will particularly benefit ambitious professionals, founders, consultants, freelancers, leaders, and women in transition periods who are questioning traditional approaches to growth, visibility, and professional success. It is especially relevant for members who:
- feel overwhelmed by constant pressure to “do more”
- want stronger positioning without becoming performative
- are building businesses or personal brands in crowded spaces
- seek more intentional and sustainable career growth
- enjoy reflective, strategy-oriented discussions beyond standard networking or motivational content

The session is ideal for women who are strong in execution but want to think more critically and strategically about how they grow, position themselves, and make professional decisions.
