Vice President, PWN Netherlands - Supporting Gender Parity and Organizational Excellence

This Vice President role will serve as a critical partner to the President of PWN Netherlands, providing essential support in advancing the organization's mission of gender parity. The VP will focus on executing strategic initiatives, ensuring smooth operational flow, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships, all while actively contributing to the organization's goals. We are seeking a volunteer who is currently employed by a corporate organization, not self-employed or an entrepreneur.

Key Responsibilities (Supporting the President):

  1. Strategic Support & Execution: 
    • Assist the President in the implementation of strategic plans, with a particular focus on those advancing gender parity.
    • Contribute to the organization and execution of quarterly board meetings, ensuring efficient preparation and follow-up.
    • Support the President in empowering volunteers and board members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  2. Operational Assistance: 
    • Support the President in overseeing organizational operations, including contributing to the bi-weekly follow-up calls related to board developments.
    • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the organisation.
  3. Community Engagement & Advocacy Support: 
    • Represent PWN Netherlands at events, alongside the President, to advocate for gender equality and build community relationships.
    • Assist in building alliances with external organizations and stakeholders, supporting the President's efforts to expand PWN NL's network.
  4. Financial Collaboration: 
    • Work closely with the VP of Finance to support budget development and oversight.
    • Support the president during the AGM, by providing supporting information, and helping with the smooth running of the meeting.
  5. Board & Volunteer Support: 
    • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of a diverse board and volunteer base, in collaboration with other board members.
    • Help to support the volunteers in their various roles.
