PWN French Riviera Itadakimasu: An Evening of Japanese Culture, Connection & Conversation

Join a small group of PWN members for a curated evening that blends cultural insight with meaningful connection. We will gather for a traditional Japanese dining experience in Nice, hosted at Eau de Vie by Chef Yoshi and his wife. While known for their refined French cuisine, they open their kitchen once a month to offer an authentic Japanese menu - an experience that is both rare and highly sought-after. Izakaya-style dining centres around beautifully prepared, seasonal dishes designed to be shared - from vegetables and tofu to seafood and meat—offering a relaxed yet thoughtful way to connect around food. To deepen the experience, Katherine Melchior Ray - who spent nine years living and working in Japan - will guide us through the nuances of Japanese dining culture, from etiquette to the philosophy behind the cuisine. Over sake (or your drink of choice), we’ll open the conversation to broader reflections, experiences, and perspectives from the group. This is an intentionally intimate evening (limited to six places) designed to foster richer dialogue, cultural exchange, and meaningful connections within the network.
