The upcoming International Women's Day on March 8 will be simultaneously celebrated in the EU Parliament, Strasbourgwith PWN Global Summit (registration is still open) and locally around a delicious lunch in Nice (Sheraton, by Nice Airport).

NICE COTE D'AZUR CELEBRATION : FESTIVE LUNCH

Join us in the Sheraton Nice on the 8th March for a special lunch (12:00 -14:00) to celebrate this International Women's Day. Inspired by the enduring legacy of Germaine de Stael, a trailblazing figure known for her significant contributions to art, literature, and spirituality, we will reflect on the journey of women, the challenges they have overcome, and the barriers they continue to face in our modern world.

We will honor the spirit of women's progress and discuss strategies to overcome the barriers of today. It promises to be a truly enriching experience for all involved, as we come together to celebrate the achievements of women and inspire positive change for the future.

STRASBOURG CELEBRATION: PWN GLOBAL SUMMIT IN EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

Women: Peace, Health and wealth

PWN Global *(Professional Women Network), a leading organization, dedicated to fostering balanced leadership between men and women since its creation in Paris 27 years ago, is thrilled to announce its upcoming event, the PWN Global Summit 2024 on 8 March, International Women's Rights Day at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Open to members and to the public, the PWN Global Summit 2024 will serve as a focal point for 300 professionals across 25 European cities, eager to engage in vibrant discussions, participate in informative meetings and expand their professional networks. 

Distinguished partners and speakers from the public, private and academic sectors will share their insights on the Summit's central theme: Women: Peace, Health, and Wealth.

Peace, because it is the basis for all human rights, and we know that women are the first victims when peace and democracy are under attack. We would like to learn how we can each contribute to be a strong network of women and men united for a safe future in Europe. We have confirmed the participation of Fabienne Keller, European Deputy, European Parliament as well as Leon Laulusa, Dean & Executive President, ESCP Business School.

The theme Health aims to bring together a panel that will look at topics such as work-life balance, physical and mental health at all stages of women's lives, quality of life, parenthood, employment of senior women. Among the speakers on this subject will be  Stéphane Nitsasfrom Allianz and Prof.Claire Mounier-Vehier, Co-Founder of the Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation.

And finally, Wealth, which is too often a taboo amongst women. It is time we talk about our relation to money, our salary and pension, which is key to independence. Gender-balance governance and engaging men to support women in organizations is crucial. The way women view entrepreneurship is often based on skepticism or even fear; they must take more risk and think big.

This subject will be discussed by representatives of J&J Med Tech EMEA , BCR Banca Comerciala Romänâ and Financi’Elles Federation.

Women On Board: PWN Global Survey

PWN Global is in the process of setting up a specific Women On Board program in line with the network’s ambition of delivering a significant impact on gender-balanced leadership in the board of directors. The purpose of the program is to prepare, inform and connect you and women across borders for board and advisory board positions.

To ensure the program corresponds to our community, we would kindly ask you to use 2 minutes to fill in the questionnaire in this link.

International Mentoring Programme (IMP) with PWN Global

Do you want to make a career step abroad?  Do you feel the need to grow your leadership in an international context? or do you feel your international experience as a leader could benefit other women managers?

If you are interested to become a mentee or a mentor and you missed our local mentoring programme, do not hesitate to take a look at the International Mentoring Program.  The IMP complements your local mentoring programs as it targets only women who want to have an international career (mentees) and women who have already got that experience (mentors).

Your International Mentoring Program will last for 8 months, from Mid-March 2024 and will close (at the latest) and the end of November 2024. It requires a minimum of a two-hours per month commitment from participants.

Our Launch Webinar Event is planned for March 2nd at 01:00PM CET. It is open to anyone would like to get more information about the program.
