Happy Holidays from PWN Nice Cote d'Azur

The board of PWN would like to take the time to wish all our members, supporters and volunteers a Happy and Joyous Holiday Season. It has been another busy year with mentors and small and large events. We had our after-work meet and greets every second month, and we restarted our round table lunches around topics of interest to our members. As our first in-person efforts after Covid, we held our events close to Sophia Antipolis; however, next year, we hope to expand back into Nice and Monaco as we had before Covid. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to host and arrange an event or be a speaker. 

We also had a lovely summer party, and this year we combined our winter party with the Business Expo. It was a great success with a keynote presentation on the state of women in the workforce, followed by a panel discussion on women's leadership with senior women leaders. We had seven businesses attend our business expo offering a range of valuable services to our members, and this was followed by a well-attended cocktail and a delightful dinner. Many members were interested in joining the group discussion on mentoring, and we hope to expand our mentor pool in 2023.

As usual, we try to have some outdoor activities, and this year we had several guided hikes around the coast, which were excellent. 

We also joined PWN Global in participating in a sponsored event with Marina Rinaldi, a fashion company from the Max Mara group with a presence in Cannes. They became a corporate sponsor for several PWN City networks and hosted us for an event on their premises.

Last but not least, we held joint events with our corporate partner, Amadeus and EDHEC, our educational partner and always a source of enthusiastic volunteers from their global MBA program. Don't forget that EDHEC also supports the development of professional women by offering a significant discount to our members for their Global MBA program.

PWN is an all-volunteer organization, so many thanks to the board members and mentor and event volunteers who give their time to ensure that professional women on the Cote d'Azur have access to English-speaking networking events, mentoring, workshops and some fun too.

Although applications for the 2023 Individual Mentoring Programme have closed, we are hoping to test some group mentoring options, which will start in February/March, and we'll update you with more information in January.    We'll kick off the 2023 Mentoring Programme year with an event on Tuesday, 10 January, at 18h30.  Please save the date if you are a Mentor or have already applied as a Mentee.  We'll inform you of the venue soon.
