Engaging Men as Allies 2026 Programme

PWN Dublin strongly believes that a crucial predictor of success is engaging male leaders and colleagues in our mission of balanced leadership. We launched a groundbreaking Engaging Men As Allies Programme in 2025, which was highly successful in changing attitudes and behaviours of the men who participated. These men reported significant increases in their awareness and actions as allies for gender balance.

Our 2026 Engaging Men as Allies Programme builds on the success and the learnings from the 2025 cohort, as well as best practices from allyship programmes globally.

Programme structure

The programme consists of two evening events, kindly sponsored by William Fry, and two half-day workshops, kindly sponsored by ESB.

  • The two events are in person, hosted by William Fry, and open to all. They are a great opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and be part of the ripple effect. These events are open to all members and corporate partner representatives.
  • The two half-day workshops are for men only, limited to 25 participants. They are designed to create a supportive space to reflect on and learn more about why being an ally matters and how to be more intentional in how you model inclusive leadership in all aspects of life.
    • The programme also includes two x1 hour post-workshop check-ins, online, to support the group turn insights into action. Together, we create a highly interactive environment, focused on experiential learning and peer support.

Are You Ready to Become a Better Leader?

The benefits are compelling, and getting involved could not be easier and more enjoyable!

  • Companies are looking for leaders who truly believe in the value proposition of diversity, inclusion and the core tenets of allyship. Recent research shows they are 62%more likely tooccupy the C-suite.” i.e. the top positions in any organisation! (Harvard Business Review, May 2021)
  • 97% of male leaders who are active allies to women in their workplaces say they becomebetter leaders and human beings! (Token Man, November 2022)
  • Allies report that they build better connections and are trusted more by others: a huge competitive advantagefor themselves and their organisations in today’s world, where employee trust in leaders is extremely low! (Token Man, November 2022)
  • Workplace allyship leads to better family and societal outcomes, e.g., greater involvement of men as fathers, less strain on partners. (MC Huerta et al, March 2017).
