PWN Dublin: Strategic Operations Lead

Reports to: VP of Operations

Purpose of the Role

The Strategic Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting operational excellence across PWN Dublin. This role focuses on streamlining processes, promoting best practice use of technology, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives across the network. Working closely with the VP of Operations and other VPs, this role ensures that our ways of working remain efficient, effective, and fit for purpose. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys systems thinking, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Process Design & Best Practice
    Design, document, and communicate best practices for internal technologies, tools, and processes to support consistency and effectiveness across the network.
  • Cross-Team Coordination
    Liaise with each VP and their teams to understand operational needs, clarify workflows, and identify opportunities for improved collaboration and alignment.
  • Strategic Project Support
    Lead and/or support key strategic initiatives that require coordination across multiple functions, bringing clarity and structure to emerging projects.
  • Process Improvement
    Continuously assess and improve PWN Dublin's internal processes, ensuring they remain efficient, relevant, and aligned with the needs of a growing and dynamic volunteer team.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
    Ensure processes, templates, and internal resources are consistently documented, organised, and accessible to all team members.
  • Operational Advisory
    Act as a thought partner to the VP of Operations, contributing insights and suggestions to enhance the overall running of the network.
