Purpose of the Role
The Event Host supports the VP Events and the Events Team in delivering PWN Dublin’s signature event experience: warm, engaging, and inclusive by design. As a visible presence at our events, the Event Host plays a key role in creating a sense of belonging and connection for every attendee. Working closely with the VP Membership Experience, they also help identify new members and individuals attending to “test the waters”, supporting meaningful connections that can lead to long-term engagement with the network. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys meeting people, thrives in social settings, and wants to make a genuine impact on how members and guests experience PWN Dublin.

What you'll do
- Provide support during PWN Dublin events, including registration desk management, badge logistics, distribution, and welcoming guests
- Help create a warm, engaging atmosphere where attendees feel seen, included, and connected
- Support the Experience & Events Curator and VP Events to ensure smooth event delivery
- Work with the VP Membership Experience to identify new members and potential members attending events to explore PWN Dublin
- Assist with the set-up of event spaces, including signage, banners, name badges, and materials
- Introduce new members and guests to the VP Events, Membership Experience Team, and other attendees
- Help identify attendees who might benefit from specific introductions or follow-ups after the event
- Rotate duties with other Event Hosts to ensure everyone has the chance to participate and network
- Collect informal feedback from attendees and share insights to enhance future events and the overall member experience
