Welcome to the PWN Dublin Team: Carmen Ristuccia
Carmen Ristuccia’s story is defined by a decade-long mastery of the global digital landscape, fueled by an unwavering commitment to empowering women and driving social change, and by a very personal belief that technology and community can open doors that once felt closed.
She started her digital marketing career in Italy as Branded Content Coordinator at the Banijay Group where she mentored a team of digital specialists, designing multi-channel campaigns that strengthened brand visibility, told meaningful stories, and proved that data-driven creativity could move both people and business results. Those early years taught her the power of narrative and representation in media, how the right content can make people feel seen, confident, and entitled to take up space in rooms where they are often underrepresented.
Carmen advanced through different companies such as Project Marketing Manager at Omnicom Media Group, before her professional path brought her to Dublin, where she now works as a Senior Account Manager in Large Customer Sales at Google, accelerating growth for global FMCG and retail clients and helping them integrate advanced AI-driven solutions into their marketing and commerce strategies. In this role, she thrives at the intersection of innovation and impact, pushing clients to use technology not only to drive performance, but also to build inclusive brands that speak to diverse audiences and future female leaders in digital.
Her expertise is rigorously founded: Carmen recently graduated with honors from the Executive MBA Class of 2025 at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, strengthening her strategic, leadership and innovation toolkit while working full-time in a demanding international role. In parallel, Carmn teaches digital marketing and communication at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where she brings real-world marketing technologies and agency experience into the classroom to equip the next generation of talent, especially young women, with the confidence and skills to navigate a fast-changing digital and AI economy.
What truly defines Carmen, however, is her deep commitment to social justice and civil rights, which has run alongside her corporate career from the very beginning. For 7 years, she dedicated her free time as a Board Member and HR VP at Young Women Network, Italy’s first association focused on networking, mentoring, and empowering young women, where she helped design programs, recruit volunteers and mentors, and build communities explicitly aimed at closing the leadership gender gap.
This dedication continued through her volunteer work and active member with Il Giusto Mezzo, PWN Milan and Girls Restart, where she contributes as a project manager for events and advocacy initiatives designed to create a fairer, healthier country, increase female representation in decision-making, and build the ecosystem women need to restart, grow and lead. Along the way, she learned that progress is rarely linear: real change happens when many small, consistent actions - Mentoring one woman, organising one event, speaking up in one meeting - compound into visible shifts in culture and opportunity.
Now, as she establishes herself in Dublin, Carmen wants to bring this blend of professional expertise, activism and lived experience to PWN Dublin as an Event Host, creating spaces where women feel not only welcome, but expected to lead. PWN Dublin is meaningful to her because it reflects the international, cross-sector network she believes in, a place where a woman in tech can connect with a woman in finance, a founder or a young graduate, and each can leave with a new perspective, a practical opportunity and the sense of not being alone in the fight for gender-balanced leadership.
For Carmen, this is not “extra” work; it is the through-line of her career. By contributing to PWN Dublin, she hopes to champion women’s professional progress in the digital and AI sector, making sure that the technologies reshaping the world are designed, led, and governed by teams that truly reflect the societies they serve.
