About SheSTEAMS

Following the great success of SheSTEAMS 2025, PWN Norway is bringing the program back in 2026 with a refreshed format. SheSTEAMS is a bold, hands-on initiative empowering women to lead confidently in the AI era by combining STEM + creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

The program will take place in Oslo and Stavanger and includes workshops, community building, and a final hackathon. While the exact 2026 format is still being shaped, the core mission remains the same: empowering women to lead boldly, creatively, and inclusively.

The Role

We are looking for two Volunteer Project Managers for Stavanger to support the planning and execution of the SheSTEAMS 2026 event locally. You will work closely with the SheSTEAMS core team and other professional women from diverse sectors.

This is a hands-on coordination role with flexibility, responsibility, and strong collaboration.

What You’ll Do

As Project Manager for Stavanger, you will support the local organization of the event, including:

  • Supporting the planning and execution of the SheSTEAMS event in Stavanger

  • Acting as a local point of contact for speakers, partners, and participants

  • Assisting with participant management and communications

  • Coordinating practical event-related tasks and ad-hoc needs

  • Creating and managing feedback forms (e.g. Google Forms)

  • Supporting internal communication via Gmail / Google Chat / Asana

  • Being present and active during the event days, including hands-on organizational support, including on-site logistics such as setting up the room, ordering and coordinating food, distributing materials to participants, etc.

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in event coordination, project management, or community building

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Comfortable working with digital tools (Google Workspace, forms, Asana, etc.)

  • Reliable, proactive, and collaborative

  • Fluent in English (Norwegian is a plus, but not required)

  • Alignment with PWN Norway’s values of diversity, inclusion, and women’s empowerment
