PWN Norway is recruiting a Project Manager to lead our social media content.
The core of the role
We run events, programs, and series in Oslo and Stavanger nearly every month. All of it needs promoting, and it needs promoting on time. There is a clear link between when content goes out and how many people register, so these deadlines are real. You create and publish across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, adapting each piece to the channel rather than posting the same thing three times, and you contribute to the monthly member newsletter.
What you make of it
The formats are open. Reels, video, carousels, static visuals. If your strength is video, build that side out. If you have a design eye, take the visual identity of our content further. We would rather shape the role around what you do well than hand you a fixed list. Ideas are welcome and expected. If you see something worth making that nobody asked for, propose it.
Supporting the wider team
Alongside the social work, you support the membership team with content for our website, which they publish. You coordinate closely with the events team in both cities, who bring you event details ahead of time and photos and highlights afterward. Some work also involves the President directly.
What we're looking for
- Someone who creates content people stop for
- Skill in video, design, or both, and the ability to write a caption that works
- Ideas of your own and the initiative to bring them forward
- Reliability on deadlines, since promotion loses its value when it arrives late
- Comfort coordinating across several teams
- Norwegian is an advantage but not required
What you get
A portfolio of work you can point to, genuine creative ownership, mentoring from an experienced VP Marketing, and access to PWN's international network of women across more than 30 cities.
The commitment
Approximately 10 hours per month. One year term, renewable by mutual agreement. This is a voluntary, unpaid position.
To apply
Send your CV and a letter of interest to board@pwnnorway.no, along with two or three examples of content you have created. We review applications on a rolling basis.
