PWN Norway, VP Marketing & Communication

Role Description 

The VP Marketing & Communication is accountable for increasing PWN Norway's visibility and image on Social Media. She leads PWN Norway’s marketing initiatives, supporting our members' personal and professional growth. She actively monitors trends, drives creative and continuous improvements, and ensures swift, effective communication when required. She collaborates across cultures with diplomacy and leadership. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Norwegian is preferred.

OVERVIEW

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Lead a winning team of volunteers in Oslo and Stavanger to deliver on the M&C strategy.
• Create and implement a communication strategy to enhance visibility and generate interest in PWN among members and potential members.
• Owner of communication material; develop marketing material as needed, such as brochures, flyers, adverts, banners, etc.
• Maintain social media (Facebook, IG, LinkedIn).
• Manage the full lifecycle of events and programs communications, ensuring timely publication at all stages, delegating within the team where necessary. 
• Act as the newsletter editor, providing strategic leadership and managing cooperation with external contributors where necessary.
• Ensure presence at events to capture marketing material; bring a camera and coordinate photo-taking, delegating to PMs where necessary.
• Liaison with PWN Global to support and align with the overall strategy, including joining Global Marketing calls.
