PWN Global, the leading network of professionals accelerating gender balanced leadership in the workplace and in society at large is bringing their inaugural global award ceremony to Dublin in October 2019.
The PWN Global Gender Balanced Leadership Awards are produced by PWN Global’s elected Federation Board. The awards recognise the efforts of, and bring together, international business leaders from all over the world to celebrate best practice in gender balanced leadership.
To give you a flavor of the calibre of organisations who have made the finalists lists:
Boston Consulting Group, Citi Bank, ESB, Grant Thornton, INSEAD, Kuehne + Nagel, Mercer, Nissan, Oracle, PwC, and Roche to name but a few. A veritable ‘who’s who’ in gender balanced leadership thought leadership today. In addition to these finalists, we have also seen the ‘Davids’ go head to head with ‘Goliaths’ – with a number of entrepreneurs and SMEs taking the stage amongst these big names – independent law firms and coaching establishments are giving the big corporates a run for their money, and we will only find out on the night itself who will win the top prizes.
This year’s winners will be announced at a gala dinner and networking event that takes place at the Intercontinental Hotel, Ballsbridge, in Dublin, on 10th October. More than 360 global leaders who are passionate about gender balanced leadership are expected to attend the ceremony, which will share award winners’ names in real time, across all digital channels, as they are announced on the night.
The Awards ceremony is open to all, and tickets are now on sale via www.pwnglobalawards.com.
The PWN Global Gender Balanced Leadership Awards will be complemented by a half-day educational Diversity Lab that takes place on 11th October, in the stunning premises of William Fry. The Diversity Lab is an exclusive, invite only event, where industry leaders will brainstorm the most prominent issues surrounding gender balanced leadership with a view to creating sustainable and systemic solutions for change. If you wish to be involved, please make your application for an invite, with a brief note on why you wish to attend, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In its inaugural year, award entries were received by more than 100 organisations and individuals around the world. PWN Global understands that gender balanced leadership is no longer simply the ‘right’ thing to do – major research projects have shown, time and time again, that it’s the profitable thing to do. Forward thinking companies and professionals know that putting balanced leadership at the heart of their business strategies will lead to sustainable growth and profit. For this reason, PWN Global wants to encourage us all to celebrate some of the important work being done by thought-leaders across many different industries who are really making a difference to our future, and our children’s futures.
The awards are supported by Failte Ireland, Julie Sinnamon of Enterprise Ireland and the Irish Times.
