PWN Copenhagen: Women And Finance - Pension Savings

22 November 2017 17:00 - 21:00 Copenhagen

PWN Copenhagen is happy to announce the second event of our series “Women and Finance”. This time, we focus on pension savings: What are the specific challenges for women and what does that imply for their personal strategies? What do typical life-changes, such as divorce or working in a different country, imply for one's pension savings?

The motivation behind “Women and Finance” is empowering women to own finance related matters, and improve their skills when it comes to personal and business finance.

Statistics show that women are increasingly becoming household breadwinners. However, we are worse off when negotiating our salary and we tend to pass the buck on important choices such as investment and retirement.

This evening's event is divided in three parts:

17:00-18:00 Networking Session. We would like to start the event with a networking session, where you can get to know other members in an informal setting, build relations, and get inspired on your next professional opportunity.

18:00-18:10 Women and Finance Kick-off. PWN Copenhagen would like to introduce you to the concept behind the Event Series “Women and Finance”.

18:10-20:00 Presentation, cases & Q&A. We have joined forces with two experts from PFA, one of Denmark's leading pension funds, who will take us through the typical pitfalls of planning one's individual pension savings, and what can be done to be on top of one's own financial situation after retirement. Their presentation will evolve around practical examples of typical situations and life-changes, and will be mixed with quick polls and Q&A.

About our speakers:

Carsten Holdum, Master of Law, Bachelor in Economy. Working for PFA since 2011. Formerly Chief Economist in the Danish Consumer Counsil.

Line Jørgensen, Cand.mer (mat). Working for PFA since 2017 as Head of investment & products. Formerly Head of investment Advice Process in Nordea.

N.B. We offer free tickets to the first 30 registered PWN members, and 150 DKK for remaining spots. Also, please remember to update your attendance at least 2 days in advance, otherwise there will be a 150 DKK no show fee.
