PWN Vienna: Workshop "How to start investing in real estate"

PWN Vienna and Barbara Wolff would like to invite you to spend an evening with us and learn about how to start investing in the real estate market in Austria.

In this workshop we would like to encourage you to embark with us on the exciting journey towards financial independence. The idea to offer this workshop evoloved through Barbara´s cooperation with Hart & Hart in her profession as real-estate broker. Hosted by real-estate developer and investor Hart&Hart, we will first be introduced to the Austrian concept of „buy-to-let“ investment property. Also, the investment and selection criteria for such accomodations will be explained. What is important? What do we have to watch out for? Important with regard to „buy-to-let“ investment property is also the analysis of tax issues. This workshop is designed to get a first overview, network and exchange our experiences with investing in real-estate.

About Barbara:

Caleidoscope of professional experiences in capital markets, education and real-estate. Barbara began her career in fixed-income sales and was subsequently involved in a major restructuring process aiming at a significant expansion of the investment department of Siemens Austria, pioneering the implementation of international standards in portfolio management and performance measurement. She could further enhance her investment skills by obtaining the Austrian real-estate broker and property manager certification. Barbara currently explores the many facets of investing in property in her role as real-estate broker.
Barbara is a graduate of Vienna University and holds a post-grad diploma in international relations from the Johns Hopkins Bologna Center. She has served for many years as the treasurer for the Austrian association of Johns Hopkins alumni.
