PWN Amsterdam: Meet your Match!

Our Thursday 24th January event hosted by TomTom in Amsterdam was a huge success, thanks in large part to our wonderful hosts at TomTom and the fabulous organisational skills of Samantha Burratini and Jill Dorjath among others. We heard from Arne-Christian van der Tang and Josette Udo, who generously shared their experiences of mentoring and being mentored, and had the opportunity to further stoke the fires of inspiration during the Beehive Networking game with Wendy Broersen!

Now it's time to Meet your Match(es)! Please note that this event will start at 18.30 with registrations and networking/appetizers and drinks. 

At this next event, you will meet the mentor and/or mentee(s) with whom you’ve been matched, and have an opportunity to sit down together and plan how you’re going to get started. This event always generates a lot of excitement in our community, as mentors and mentees look forward to learning who they will be partnering with in the coming months. It really is important that you do everything possible to be here with us for the evening!

Once you know with whom you’ve been matched, we’ll invite you to spend a short time with each other. Here you will address three key action items which will get you off to a flying start in your mentoring engagements: 

• Setting your goals

• Agreeing regular meeting times, and

• Identifying a location for your first mentoring meeting (in-person or virtual)

Getting these agreements and commitments in place during this event, will help each of you get off to an early start, so you can make the most of the time together in the 2018-2019 PWN Mentoring Program.  Please do bring your calendars, contact details, commitment and enthusiasm! 

To close the evening, we’ll come back together as a PWN Mentoring Program group, and check-in before wrapping up, and inviting you to spend some time networking. 

It’s critically important that you join us for this event, so as not to disappoint your mentoring program match. There’s nothing worse than making the effort to join, only to find the other person didn’t show up! If you applied to join the program, do please be there on February 12th! 

This meeting is for * registered PWN Amsterdam Mentoring Program participants ONLY.  You have been confirmed as an eligible participant.

* Registered means being a paid-up Premium member or having paid the program participation fee in order to be mentored. Registered mentors do not need to be a paid -up Premium member. For additional clarification, please contact mentoring(at)pwnamsterdam.net

**A few of you have indicated that you will be traveling or have other obligations on the 12th. If you absolutely cannot attend, we count on you to proactively set up a meeting with your mentor/mentee and tackle the above action items by 19th February 2019 at the latest.**
