PWN Amsterdam: Social Networking Drink/Borrel*

Join us for a social drink/borrel event on Friday June 29th at Schinkelhaven, 17:30-19:30!

Our Social Networking Events** are an intimate opportunity to get to know your fellow members better as well as share in conversation with a PWN Board Member. 

Our June Social Networking Event will be hosted by PWN's Treasurer, Isabelle Cochard  

Isabelle came to the Netherlands in 2015 to find a place to build her home after having lived in many countries. Her cultural background is French but she has traveled the world on her Canadian and French passports. 

After a PhD in chemical engineering Isabelle joined the pharmaceutical industry and she is still working in this world. She started her career in production and operations where she was often the only female in the environment. She spent more than 10 years traveling and auditing working conditions and environmental compliance. This brought Isabelle much leaning and growth as she was confronted with many different cultures and needed to align them with a unified direction from corporate. This is where she nurtured her interest in leading multicultural teams to get the best out of diversity. The need to be in an international environment and the will to push her career to the next level brought her to INSEAD where she obtained an Executive MBA. That experience showed her how important for women to help and support each other in developing their career. This is why she joined PWN Amsterdam when she arrived in the Netherlands.

Isabelle has been a member of PWN since 2015. Since September 2017 she has been Treasurer ad interim within PWN Amsterdam Board, ensuring continuity after the former treasurer stepped out. As of April 2018, she has been formally voted in as Treasurer for a term of two years.
