We would like to warmly invite you to our annual summer networking event – this year, with an interactive twist!
We are aiming to make this year better than ever, focusing on the challenge of giving feedback. Through an acted scenario, you’ll witness a workplace situation and then help coach our character to give constructive feedback to his colleague.
Giving constructive feedback demonstrates care and courage from the person giving it. It is much easier just to keep quiet, especially in cases where corrective feedback is needed, but if you can overcome this obstacle, you and your team will benefit.
Considering personality styles, values and job roles, we will explore appropriate ways of giving feedback and holding effective conversations to reach shared goals. We’ll answer the big questions, too: how do you approach feedback in an awkward situation? How can you adapt if the conversation takes a turn?
Join us on the evening of 13th June, for a hands-on experience that will equip you with the tools you need to improve the feedback culture in your own team. We’ll then continue the discussion over nibbles and a glass of wine (or two!).
When: 13th June 2018, 6:30pm for 7:00pm start (BST)
Where: Kings College
Who? Managers, aspiring leaders and anyone who is interested in building and maintaining more fruitful relationships in the workplace.
Juniper Co. is proud to partner with both Dan Long Associates Ltd. and the Professional Women’s Network (PWN London) to bring you this unique opportunity to observe and then contribute to a feedback conversation.
