PWN Norway Monthly Event: The voice of Influence (Oslo)

04 April 2018 18:00 - 20:00 Scandic Oslo City Hotel

ABOUT THE TOPIC

Why do some speakers have more influence than others? What do they do that makes them so compelling? Is being influential a talent people are born with or is it an acquired skill anyone can learn? These are questions that Rick Salmon has been pondering all his life. As a child, he was fascinated by great speakers such as John. F. Kennedy. His family followed Martin Luther King Jr. as he marched on Birmingham. These speakers were his childhood heroes and the way that they spoke to audiences deeply inspired him.

In many ways, all speaking is public speaking. Having influence is not about forcing someone or manipulating them into doing something they don't want to do. Real Influence is about moving people. It's about getting them to listen carefully to what you have to say, then opening them up to your ideas and thoughts. During this monthly event you will learn three basic steps: 1. Connecting 2. Winning Hearts 3. Changing Minds. Moreover, you will learn how to use your voice to allow your Authentic Self to shine through.
