About the topic

The question of sustainable business is number 1 question among executives from all kinds of industries and countries. Turid Grotmoll, a CEO and business owner, has been employing sustainable activities in her practice for years. In her talk she will focus on three main questions:

  • How is finance affected by climate changes?
  • How can finance affect sustainability?
  • How to become and stay smart in a digital society?

 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

CEO of SpareBank 1 Gruppen AS, a holding company with subsidiaries that offer a wide range of financial products, whereas the insurance products delivered by SpareBank 1 Forsikring, is the core business.

Turid Grotmoll is also CEO of SpareBank 1 Forsikring. She started at SpareBank 1 in 200 and has been responsible for both life- and non-life insurance since 2012 when these companies were merged into one. By then they have delivered extensive cost reduction and extraordinary results, and high customer and employee satisfaction. Turid has former broad experience from telecom (Telenor) and media (Norwegian Broadcasting). She is educated as a teacher and engineer and holds a Masters degree from BI Norwegian Business School.
