Luisa Garribba Rizzitelli is a communications expert, journalist, and trainer. As the CEO of Communis srl, she created Better Place®, a training and coaching program to combat stereotypes, sexism, and harassment in the workplace.
She heads the press office of Differenza Donna Ong-Aps, the largest organization in Italy to combat male violence against women. She writes for the Huffington Post blog and is the founder and president of Assist Associazione Nazionale Atlete Aps, which for 25 years has been dedicated to promoting women's sports and overcoming all forms of discrimination, bullying, and violence in sports. She received the Marisa Bellisario Award in 2003, and in 2020, she was included in Forbes Italia's list of one hundred successful women. An activist for women's and LGBTIQ+ rights, she is the Coordinator of One Billion Rising Italy and One Billion Rising Europe, a feminist movement of activists operating all over the world founded by the American writer Eve Ensler.
