Sabina Brennan (PhD., C.Psychol., PsSI.) is a health psychologist, neuroscientist, host of The Super Brain Podcast, and author of three Irish Times best-sellers: 100 Days to a Younger Brain (2019), Beating Brain Fog (2021) and The Neuroscience of Manifesting (2024).
Fascinated by the human brain, Sabina is on a mission to help people understand how their brain works to they can better understand themselves and reach their true potential. A passionate and engaging speaker, Sabina is much in demand on radio and TV in her native Ireland. Now a full-time writer and motivational speaker, Sabina's next book 'Still Me - a neuroscientist's guide for people caring for someone with dementia' will be published by Bloomsbury in July 2025.
Dr Brennan's mission to get everyone looking after their brain health as routinely as they brush their teeth has won her awards in recognition of the societal impact of her work and for her contribution to STEM communication. She was listed as one of Image magazine's Women of the Year (2018) and has had a chapter written about her in 'The Day That Changed My Life' (Black and White Publishing, 2019) and also in 'A Day in May, Real Lives, True Stories' (Irish Academic Press, 2016).
Dr Brennan directed a dementia research program at Trinity College Dublin,Ireland's premier university for seven years and also led Brain Fit, a large-scale research study examining the relationship between brain health, lifestyle, genomics, and dementia risk at Trinity College Dublin. Dr Brennan, a passionate advocate and voice for the needs of individuals with neurological conditions, has volunteered on several committees and advisory boards. She has advised the Irish Government and the All Party Parliamentary Group on Longevity in the United Kingdom.
