Emma works on the communications team at Conservation International, a global NGO focused on environmental conservation and managing climate change. She leads the writing process for the organisation’s press materials.
She has been in this role at Conservation International for five years, recently transferring from the organisation’s US headquarters in Washington, DC to its European office in Brussels.
Previously, Emma was employed at two different public relations firms in Washington, DC. Her first professional job after university was at FleishmanHillard, a large, corporate PR agency with offices around the world and primarily Fortune 500 clients.
The first decade of her career has spanned workplaces with very different priorities for and expectations from their employees, spanning from healthy to toxic.
