With over 20 years of international experience, Elina has successfully delivered hundreds of global association projects and corporate events across more than 40 countries and online. Her multifaceted career spans all sides of the event industry, providing her with deep expertise and a holistic understanding of its complexities.
Elina has collaborated with leading global PCOs such as MCI and Congrex, as well as agencies, contractors, and organizations worldwide. Her client portfolio includes renowned associations like ASIS and Globalaw, not-for-profits, and high-tech companies such as FRSGlobal (FinTech), IBA (proton therapy solutions), and Showpad (SaaS), among others.

In 2016, Elina took a bold step into freelancing, leaving behind a traditional corporate role to embrace self-employment. Through this journey, she identified a pressing need for freelancers to connect, share knowledge, and support each other. This insight led to the creation of the Freelance Business Community, a grassroots initiative in Belgium that has since evolved into a global movement, bringing together thousands of freelancers from 60+ countries.
The Freelance Business Community has become a vibrant platform for networking, learning, and collaboration, revolutionising the freelance industry. Its remarkable impact has been recognized in Forbes, highlighting Elina's contributions to empowering freelancers worldwide. Elina has also been recognized as one of the "Top 40 Female Leaders of the Year" by Excellence Talks, celebrating her outstanding contributions and leadership.
